NICK & JEFF

Nick Matheson and Jeff Hinton were best friends and roommates at Dalton Academy for the entirety of their high school career. They were partners in crime, Jeff often jokingly referring to them as the Weasley twins of Dalton, and the two of them were constantly getting into some trouble or another. They even spent a large portion of their summers together, despite the fact that Jeff's family was in Omaha, Nebraska, and Nick's in Jacksonville, Florida. The pair remained close, even when girlfriends came into their lives after swearing before they quite hit the age of really wanting to date that they would always be BFFs and that no girl would ever come between them.

As they grew up, though, they both found themselves in committed relationships, and though things did change, they remained best friends. And when Nick, now an art teacher, was the first of them to get married, Jeff, who'd become a technician in a recording studio, was his Best Man. It had been through Nick's then girlfriend, now wife, Becky, that Jeff met his girlfriend, Jessica, and within a few months of Nick's wedding, Jeff and Jessica were tying the knot themselves, and of course, with Nick as Best Man.

The two couples did a lot of things together, like double dates and the like, and all four of them got along great. Which was why it came as such a surprise for both Nick and Jeff when, at a bit of a makeshift former Warblers reunion with some of their best friends, including Blaine and Kurt, the pair found themselves in a heated, and completely unexpected lip lock. They were both grateful that no one saw, and ended up writing it off to having a few drinks too many along the way. Until the next night of the reunion, when they ended up in bed together.

The next morning, they were discovered by Kurt, whose only response was a snort and a well-played bitchpls glare. Nick and Jeff swore it would never happen again, but that proved to be far easier said than done. After sleeping together the first time, a whole rush of feelings that neither of them had known they had before, came rushing to the forefront of their minds and hearts. And trying to go back to just being best friends was a futile pursuit.

For quite a while, they've carried on their sordid affair, a fact known by their dearest friends, but as of yet, not by their wives. But both of them are beginning to wonder how long they can keep this up, especially now that Becky is pressing Nick for a baby that Nick just isn't ready for.
